Terms of use

By playing Elsewhere Together you agree to these terms. They are written to be short and readable. Last updated 4 November 2026.

The game

Elsewhere Together is a free multiplayer game played in a web browser at elsewheretogether.io. Some optional items and private servers can be bought. The game is offered as it is: we work to keep it running and fair, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of bugs, and we may change, add or remove features, modes and items at any time.

Play fair and be kind

We may mute, remove progress gained unfairly, suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Common swear words in chat are hidden automatically, and every player can mute anyone in text and voice chat.

Your account

Your account is a save code kept in your browser (Settings → Account shows it). Keep it private: anyone with the code can play as you. If you clear your browser's data without copying the code, we may not be able to bring your progress back.

Ads

The game may show a few ads in menus and result screens. Watching a rewarded video is always optional. See the privacy policy for how ads work.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by using or not being able to use the game, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing here limits responsibility that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play means you accept it. Questions: contact@elsewheretogether.io.
